Smelly Cat... Smelly Cat... What are they feeding you? - Phoebe (Friends)

Samundar (Nursery Rhyme)

March 19, 2009

Mr and Mrs Optimus went on a little walk

When hungry Tummies began to talk

Along Palawan Beach they searched for food

Wondering which restaurant was good

Wanting to sample some Indian cooking

They decided to try Samundar’s dining

Confused with all the menu suggestion

They asked the staff without hesitation

“Bring us what you think is nice

And please don’t forget the rice”

For starters, Papadums were quickly brought

 Kropek!* Optimus mistakenly thought

Main meal consisted of Chicken tandoori

With Saffron rice as its table buddy

Spicy Chicken Tikka Masala was also recommended

Take it  with Naan, the Indian Bread, the waiter suggested

After an hour the couple was satisfied

And did not regret that they tried

All the chicken dishes were really tender

To its flavor they did surrender

The Food genie has granted their wish

And now they have to burn the calories

Kropek -  Filipino fish cracker

About Me

loves to eat... loves to go on holidays... chocolate lover... ice cream fanatic... prefers to explore the countryside rather than stay in the "concreteside"... ultimate dream is simply to retire - the earlier the better and hopefully with a nice beachfront house to boot. Until then, I am simply a person stuck in the urban jungle who takes mini-vacations to keep my sanity.
